Join us! Runners and walkers of ALL ages and abilities are invited to participate in this family fun event.

Event Schedule:

  • 6:30 AM – 7:45 AM – Race Day Registration (5K)
  • 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM – Race Day Registration (1 Mile)
  • 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM – Health and Fitness Expo
  • 8:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Start
  • 9:00 AM – 1 Mile Run/Walk Start (Multiple waves)

Packet Pick Up: 
Pre-registered participants can pick up their T-shirt and race bibs Friday 4/21 from 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM, at Runners High ‘N Tri located at 121 W. Campbell St., Arlington Heights, IL 60005 or on race day at South Middle School.

Parking:
If possible, please plan to walk or bike to the event as parking is limited close South Middle School.
NO parking along the race route.
The South Middle School parking lot will be closed for the Fitness Expo.
Highland Ave will be closed from South to Park

Gear Check is available in the Gym from 7:30 – 10 AM

Event Guidelines:
District 25 students and staff – proudly wear your school spiritwear! There will be two District 25 school participation awards: one to the elementary school with the highest student participation and one to the middle school with the highest student participation.

Parents – walk or run with your kids, or just cheer them on! This is not a drop-off event – Children under 10 should be accompanied to the event by an adult as childcare is not provided.

Pre-registered participants will receive an information packet and T-shirt with health/wellness materials from sponsors.

New this year! $10 extra registration fee provides timing in both 5K and 1 mile. All fees are non-refundable. For safety reasons only registered participants with signed waivers and bib numbers will be permitted on either race course. All fees are non-refundable.

Gear check will be available on race day.

Strollers will be allowed on the 5K and 1 Mile courses. Participants with strollers will be asked to start behind runners and walkers.

NO dogs, bikes, skates, skateboards, or scooters allowed.

There will be limited street parking surrounding the school. Consider parking in the municipal lot on the 4th and 5th levels at 22 S. Vail.

Post-race refreshments will be available; water will be available at the start and finish line as well as along the 5K route.
